I love my daddy !

There are times in our home when mummy is just not good enough! I think that both my girls can be daddies girls. There are also times though that they become mummies girls, meaning when they have hurt themselves or are upset . This is definatly a daddies moment!!

Mummy and Daughter time.

There's always times that I like to spend some one on one time with my children.

Rebekah has this time a few times a week as joels sleep and liahonas at nursery.

Joel has times when we have amazing heart felt hugs late on an evening while he has a late bottle.

But liahona doesn't seem to have this opportunity very often. Above is one of those times that we have lately to have some mummy daughter time. I took her to a cafe, she now thinks that going to a cafe is the best thing in the world. We had a nice hot chocolate each and shared a cake. It was only for a few minutes, but we both really enjoyed the peaceful and special time together.

Life in the slow lane.

Sometimes I think that my life is full of hassel, and that it is always busy, but in the last few weeks I've come to the realisation that its anything but! Yes I have the children all day , which does make my days busy. But the days can be made up of whatever we want to do that day. Lazying around, colouring in, do I dare say tv, the park, shopping and just whatever takes are fancy. I'm so glad that I have this time with my children while they are young. We just loved the nice weather all throughout April. The girls got very used to being out at parks and having outdoor fun again.

I don't think I could swap the time I have with my family for more money by having me work. There would be some many priceless moments that would be missed.

I won't lie and say that every moment of every day is full of smiles and laughter, some days are just hard work from morning to night. But within those days there is always happiness, a reason for me to continue. The smiles , laughs, hugs, a shared toy, a loving hug between siblings, reading a book together , learning new things , singing songs over and over!

I just love my days in lifes slow lane!
